Whilst she gracefully dance, within the hallowed great hall Drifting with her surly stance, lovely the sight enthralls. Beneath her serene grace belies broken heart adage The dour clockwork pace awaits none, she age Persist as she may the curtain dropped, to her dismay The regal queen retreats into her twilight sheets for her day is over. Await another, she wills to suffer to paint skyline bleak as she once more revels in her glorious peak

Down the path we went, hand in hand. As your tiny palm held mine tight, we took our journey astride. Never the same it was, when the water edge crumbled, and left us forever. Leaving me dazed, whilst holding you in my arms. Tears was my only consolation, as the one i loved faded into a distant memory Ever since, i was a bridge too far, your whispers falls before me, like withered leaves. Neglected you were, yearning for warmth of a father so distant. As fate dictated, we left for a serene plain, where old words of wisdom rang true. Grasping through the empty night, yearning for solace, wanting to hold you tight. Yet, only the shadow of you that remains tormenting me, along the silent flutter of the wind.
